Aspirantes a Oficial obtuvieron el tercer lugar en la final de la Liga Deportiva de Educación Superior, durante un partido de básquetbol en el cual se impusieron 47 a 39 tantos frente al seleccionado de la Universidad Alberto Hurtado. La actividad se realizó en la Universidad Autónoma y en ella sobresalió el esfuerzo y perseverancia, características que les permitieron generar espíritu de cuerpo, cohesión y compañerismo.
Los representantes del Equipo Ecuestre de Carabineros integrado por el Capitán Jorge González Osses, montando a Trinity, y el Sargento 1° Felipe Inostroza Medina junto a Tinquilco, alcanzaron el segundo y quinto lugar respectivamente, en el Concurso Nacional de Prueba Completa y Regional de Salto, desarrollado en el Regimiento Granaderos de Quillota.
Los buenos resultados también se reflejaron en el Concurso Hípico Valparaíso Paperchase Club. En la prueba 1.10 metros el Capitán Jorge González Osses junto a Huimpalay logró el tercer lugar y quinto montando a Trinity de un total de veinticinco participantes. En la categoría un metro, el Teniente Daniel Gaytan Martínez obtuvo la sexta ubicación con Loky, entre veintiún jinetes. Finalmente, en los 90 cm el mismo oficial logró el sexto lugar con Llanero. En esta categoría concursaron veintitrés competidores.
