En una solemne eucaristía oficiada por el Obispo Castrense, Monseñor Pedro Ossandón Buljevic, 37 Aspirantes a Oficial recibieron la Confirmación. Este significativo momento simboliza un renovado compromiso con los valores institucionales que guían nuestra labor, los que se ven reforzados por la bendición que ilumina su camino en el servicio a la comunidad. A este grupo se suman 61 Carabineros (A), quienes recibieron este sacramento en el santuario de la Virgen Purísima de Lo Vásquez, en una ceremonia también presidida por monseñor Ossandón, quien fue administrador apostólico entre 2018 y 2021 de esta diócesis. Los estudiantes fueron acompañados por la General de la V Zona, Patricia Vásquez Muñoz.
El Papa Francisco en la Audiencia General del 8 enero de 2014, explicó que “los sacramentos son el centro de la fe cristiana, por los que Dios comunica su gracia, se hace presente y actúa en nuestra vida”.
Siguiendo este orden de ideas, en la capilla de la Escuela de Especialidades se realizó una misa de acción de gracias, con ocasión de la conmemoración de los 85 años del Conjunto Ecuestre y Acrobático Cuadro Verde de Carabineros de Chile, en la cual también se oró por sus mártires: el Cabo Luis Corales Ponce (1972) y el Cabo 2° Miguel Iñigo Paillán (1996).
