Una destacada participación deportiva obtuvo el Teniente Juan Guillermo Medina Muñoz, alumnos de la especialidad Montaña o Frontera, quien logro el primer lugar de la competencia de trailrunning “Climbing Tour”, desarrollado en Mina del Agua, comuna de Casablanca, en la Categoría General Cumbre, distancia 7,5 kilómetros, con un desnivel de D + 800 y un tiempo de 49 minutos y 26 segundos, entre 800 participantes de la actividad.
El Cabo 1° Michael Pinela Pinela, alumno del cuarto escuadrón de ESUCAR Santiago, logró el segundo lugar en la clasificación general de los 21 k de la Maratón Armada de Chile, realizada en Viña del Mar.
Otra participación exitosa en el ámbito deportivo la realizó el Equipo Ecuestre de Carabineros en el evento deportivo ecuestre de salto, organizado por la Federación Ecuestre de Chile y Santiago Paperchase Club, realizado en Huechuraba, Sobresalen las actuaciones del Capitán Jorge González Osses montando Huimpalay; el Teniente Juan Canales Zenteno junto a Tinquilco y el Teniente. Patricio Labrín Urrucelqui con Legendario.
Finalmente, caba destacar la notable acutación del Suboficial Mayor César Burgos Henríquez, con el ejemplar canino Lio.en el desarrolló la tercera y cuarta fecha del Campeonato Nacional de Agility, una modalidad competitiva donde un guía dirige a un perro sobre una serie de obstáculos. La actividad se realizó en el Grupo de Adiestramiento Canino de Carabineros.
